Santa Aha City Hall. February 15th, 1932. 455 7:30 P.M. Oity Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Knox. Present: Trustees J.L. McBride, E.G. Warner, Paul B. Witmer, A.C. HasenJaeger, John Knox. Absent: Trustees None. Minutes of meetings of February 1st and 8th were approved as read. In Re Application Staton Bros. In Re Application C. H. Eckles. In Re Telephones Courtesy Cab Co. ' tied, the application of In Re Bond--Harry N. Nayes. In Re Health Report. In Re Poultry Yard. Im Re Communioation Bricklayers Union. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the application of Starch Bros. for permission to cut the curb thirty feet on First Street and twenty-nine and one-half feet on Spurgeon Street for d~iveways into service station, was granted. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the application of C. H. Eckles for the right to combine the the City Taxi and the Star Taxi with the Courtesy Cab Company at 312 N. Main Street, was granted. On motion cf Trustee McBride, sec~aded by Witmer and car- C. H. Eckles relative to placing telephones in the outlying districts of the city in con- nection with the business of the Courtesy Cab Company, was referred to Trustee HasenJaeger and the City Engineer ,, O~ motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the bond of Harry N. Hayes as Manager of the Water Department in amo,mut of $5,000.00 was referred to the Chair for approval or disapproval. On motion of Trustee McBride~ seconded by Warner and car- ried, the report of the Health Department for the month of January was referred to t~he Finance Committee. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the application of F. F.' Bennett for permit to conduct a commercial poultry yard at 16S9 W. Fourth Street, was granted. On motion of Trustee McBride,seconded by Warner and car- ried, the report of the Ci~y Attorney was accepted and the com~nunication of the Bricklayers', Masons' and Plastererst International Union No. Z2 stating their to the Unemployment Comittee willingness to assign the differential of $1.50 per day/ by the Bricklayers at the Bowers Memorial Museum, was accepted and filed.
