Graves. <br /> <br />473 <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the applications of Fred W. Wager for the job as <br />caretaker and of Lillian A. Harris for the position as <br />Curator at the Bowers Memorial Museum, Were referred to <br />the Bowers Memorial Museum Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Witmer and car- <br />ried, the resignation of Harold Berry as special police <br />officer was accepted with instructions to return his badg~ <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner, and <br />carried, the application of Ed Daley ~or permission to <br />conduct a barber shop at 105 E. Seventh Street, was <br />referred to t~he Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, <br />tied, the application of M. <br /> <br />seconded by Witmer and car- <br />R. Kellogg for permission to <br /> <br />erect an auto court consisting of an office and five units <br />on the south side of the intersection of Roe Drive and <br />the Santa Ana Boulevard, was referred to the Planning <br />Commission. On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded <br />by Witmer and carried, the recommendation of t~he Planning <br />Co~ission was accepted and the property of M. R. Kellogg <br />was ordered posted for special uses and the hearing date <br />set April 18th, 193~. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, 0. E. Steward, Maintenance Engineer of the Joint <br />0utfall Sewer, was instructed to proceed to repair leaky <br />Joints, etc. at ths ocean end of the Joint Outfall Sewer, <br />cost not to exceed the sum of $2000.00 and actual con- <br />struction work not to start until the Cities of Anaheim, <br />Fullerton and Orange authorize the work and state thei~ <br />willingness to share expense of work. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee ~cBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the application of J. S. Graves, 915 W. Pine Street, <br />for permission to use Birch Park to speak on religion and <br />history about three or four times a week was denied by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees J.L. McBride, E.G. Warner, John ~luox. <br />Noes, Trustees Paul B. Witmer, A.C. Hasenjaeger. <br />Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Witmer and car- <br />ried, J. S. Graves was granted permission to use the Bowl <br />to speak on religion and history. <br /> <br /> <br />
