Wilson. <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall. <br /> <br />June 13th, 1932. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Penn and car- <br />tied, the communication from Charles Cobb, Chairman of <br />the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, relative to <br />budgeting an allotment for the Tournament of Roses, <br />January 2nd, 1933, was accepted and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />tied, the con~nunication from the Newport Harbor Chamber <br />of Commerce with reference to entering a float in the <br />Annual Tournament of Lights at Newport Bay, July 16,1932 <br />was taken under advisement and the Clerk instructed t o <br />advise the Chamber of Commerce of the action taken. <br /> <br />On.~otion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the resolution adopted by the Orange County <br />Council American Legion approving the principle of em- <br />Dloying only citizens and residents of Orange County on <br />all work, both public and private in the County and also <br />th~ purchase of materials locally, was taken under <br />advisement. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by McBride and <br /> <br />carried, the application of R. E. Bu~ton for permission <br /> <br />to conduct a Roller Skating Rink at 419 E. Third Street <br /> investigate and <br />was referred to the Police Department to/report back. <br /> <br />On .motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the request of C~ H. Eckles for the Council's <br />approval to transfer his permit to operate the Santa Aha <br />Bus Service to Mr. A. Hazelhurst and also to transfer <br />his permit to operate the Courtesy Cab Company to Mr. <br /> <br />C. F. Eddleman, was referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the communication of J. Parley Smith as attorney <br />for John H. Wilson, tendering proper license fee and <br />public liability insurance policy for the operation of <br />taxicabs by his client, was referred to the Finence <br />Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />
