Miller for permission to erect a stand to sell Miracle Mineral Water at the northwest corner of Fourth and Garnsey Streets, was re- ferred to the Planning Commissi6n. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the appli- cation of Guy J. Miller was referred to the Bvltding Inspector as to specific improvement proposed, on recom- mendation of the Planning Commission. On moti04 of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- ried, the application of C. J. Alexander for a permit to erect a service station at the southeast corner of First and Bristol Streets was referred to the Planning Commissi~ ,, On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and car- ried, the application of The Tate Sisters for permission to conduct a gospel meeting in a tent at the corner of Fifth and Forest Avenue for a period of thirty days, was granted. ,, On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by McBride and carried, the application of A. G. Diehl for a permit to construct a store room at the southeast corner of Bishop and Van Ness Streets, was referred to the Planning Commission. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the application ~ Ralph Gladden for a free license to sell Olympic Games Stickers, using canvassers from the Unemployment Office, was granted on condition that canvassing is done on their own ini~iA~ive and not as representativew of the Unemployment Office. ,, On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and c ar- tied, the application of Mrs. N. G. Allen for permit to remodel house at 1404 French Street into a duplex, was referred to the Planning Commission for reco~mnendation. No protests having been filed, on motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and carried, the recommenda- tion of the Planning Commission was accepted and the application of M~s. N. G. Allen was granted.
