Miller for permission <br />to erect a stand to sell Miracle Mineral Water at the <br />northwest corner of Fourth and Garnsey Streets, was re- <br />ferred to the Planning Commissi6n. On motion of Trustee <br />McBride, seconded by HasenJaeger and carried, the appli- <br />cation of Guy J. Miller was referred to the Bvltding <br />Inspector as to specific improvement proposed, on recom- <br />mendation of the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On moti04 of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the application of C. J. Alexander for a permit to <br />erect a service station at the southeast corner of First <br />and Bristol Streets was referred to the Planning Commissi~ <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by McBride and car- <br />ried, the application of The Tate Sisters for permission <br />to conduct a gospel meeting in a tent at the corner of <br />Fifth and Forest Avenue for a period of thirty days, was <br />granted. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by McBride and <br />carried, the application of A. G. Diehl for a permit to <br />construct a store room at the southeast corner of Bishop <br />and Van Ness Streets, was referred to the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the application ~ Ralph Gladden for a free <br />license to sell Olympic Games Stickers, using canvassers <br />from the Unemployment Office, was granted on condition <br />that canvassing is done on their own ini~iA~ive and not <br />as representativew of the Unemployment Office. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and c ar- <br />tied, the application of Mrs. N. G. Allen for permit to <br />remodel house at 1404 French Street into a duplex, was <br />referred to the Planning Commission for reco~mnendation. <br />No protests having been filed, on motion of Trustee <br />McBride, seconded by Warner and carried, the recommenda- <br />tion of the Planning Commission was accepted and the <br />application of M~s.
