No. 2337 <br /> <br />Overruling Protests <br /> <br />& Approving Report--Weeds. <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />Ordinance regulating the operation of taxicabs in the <br />City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, it was decided to effect a new schedule cutting <br />the operation of street lights according to plans of th~ <br />City Engineer, which will be a saving of$4~00.00 per yea~ <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission <br />was accepted and the property at the southeast corner of <br />Bishop and Van Ness Avenue was ordered posted for neigh- <br />borhood business zone and hearing date set July llth in <br />accordinance with the application of A. G. Diehl to con- <br />struct a store building. <br /> <br />This being the time when interested persons might be <br />heard concerning the report of the Superintendent of <br />Streets covering expenses in connection with cleaning <br />noxious and dangerous weeds from private property in the <br />City of Santa Ana, and the City Council being now in <br />regular session, proceeded to consider protests. No <br />owner of property liable to be assessed for said work <br />made written protest against the work and no person <br />appearing to protest, object or show amy cause why this <br />work should not be approved, a resolution overruling pro- <br />tests or objections to assessment, approving the report <br />and ordering the Street Superintendent to file a copy <br />thereof with the Tax Collector, was introduced. <br /> <br />The Resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, <br />designated Resolution No. 2337 and passed by the follow- <br />ing vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, '~ <br /> A.C. Hasenjaeger, Paul B. Witmer. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees J~L.McBride. <br /> <br />On motion of Trumtee Warner, seconded by Hasenjaeger ann <br />carried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, July llth <br />~932, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council C.hamber. <br /> <br /> City ~le~k. <br /> <br /> <br />
