Russell and Fred C. Wahl <br />doing business as Russell Plumbing Company, for Plumbing <br />and Gas Fitting in amount of $2000.00 was referred to the <br />C.hair for approval or disapproval. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjeeger, seconded by Warner and <br /> <br />carried, the reports of City Officers for the month of <br />July were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, s~econded by Hasenjoeger and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants <br />according to demands audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />carried, the application of ?. E. Calhoun for permission <br />to manufacture perfume sticks in his home at 802 Garfield <br />Street, was referred to the Plan~ing Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, <br />the communication from the <br /> <br />seconded by Warner and carried. <br />League of California Munici- <br /> <br />palities with reference to a Statewide meeting to discuss <br />steps to prevent the diversion of gssoline taxes and <br />motor vehicle fees into the state general fund, was <br />referred to Trustee McBride. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to advise the League of <br /> <br />California Municipalities that the Council Chamber will <br /> · regional <br />he available to the League for its/~neeting to be held <br /> <br />August 13th. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Warner and car- <br />ried, the application of J. A. Friend for permit to con- <br />duct the Friendly Taxicab Service at ll2 W. Third Street, <br />was denied. <br /> <br /> <br />
