Santa Ama City Hall. <br /> August 29th, 1932. 7:30 <br />City Council met in regular adjourned session. <br />~eeting called to order by ~ayor Witmer. <br />Present: Trustees E.G. Warner, W.H. Penn, <br />A.C. Ha.~en0aeger, Paul B. Witmero <br />Absent: Trustees J.L. NcBride. <br /> <br />In Re On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />Co~unication carried, the communication of K. H. Sutherland, County <br />Or.Co. Health Dept. Health Officer, stating that it will be impossible for <br />his department to render a monthly written report of <br />Health activities in tho City, was received and filed and <br />the Clerk was instructed to advise Dr. Sutherland that <br />the quar.terly report will be satisfactory. <br />In Re On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Per~ and <br />Application carried, the ap~?lication of Csirdido Peroz for permission <br />Calrdido Perez. to conduct a pool hall at 1030 Logan Street was referred <br />to the Chief of Police and Police Commissioner to inves- <br />tigate and report back in one week. <br />In Re On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />Request of carried, the request of Geo. D. Newcom to have James <br />Geo. D. Newcom. League appointed a special police officer at the High <br />School, was referred to the Chief of Police with power <br />to act. <br />In Re On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />Hearing for Removal carried, the notice of the State Railroad Commission <br />Crossing Gates--E. 4th St. resetting hearing date from September 2nd to September <br />1st, 1932, at 10:30 A.N., relative to removing crossing <br />gates on E. Fourth Street, was referred to City Attorney. <br />In Re On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />Report of carried, the financial statements of the ~etropolttan <br />~etro~olitan Water Dist. Water District as of June 30th, 193~, together with State- <br />ment No. 8 showing the amount of water stored by the <br />District and used by member cities thereof, were received <br />and filed. <br />In Re On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />Franchise Warrant carried, the warrant of the Southern California Telephone <br />Sou. Calif. Telephone Co. Company in amount of $4,83V.02 covering franchise tax for <br />year ending August 19th, 1~32, was accepted and the Clerk <br />instructed to deposit same. <br /> <br /> <br />
