Nichols <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />City Hall Building. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Automobile Insurance. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and car- <br /> ried, the report of the City Engineer stating that 907 <br /> people used the stoves and tables in Jack Fisher Park <br /> from September 16th to October Bth, 1933, was received <br /> and filed. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />'carried, th~ applications of Globe Bottling Co., 1621 W. <br />Fifth Street to sell wholesale beverages and of Vicente M <br />Ballester, lB10 W. Fourth Street to sell on-sale beverage~ <br />were granted with the Provision that licenses will be <br />revoked if firms do not comply with the Ordinance regu- <br />lating said businesses. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by Penn and car- <br /> ried, the appl~c~ation of Michael J. Nichols to conduct a <br /> Pool Hall at 902 E. Fourth Street, was granted on recom- <br /> mendation of the Chief of Police and Police Commissioner. <br /> <br /> Messrs. W. B. Martin and J. N. Harding appeared before <br /> the City Cbuncil representing the Citizens Civic Affairs <br /> Association requesting that action be deferred for one <br /> week to lease the Frances Willard High School Building at <br /> Tenth and Main Streets, to permit the filing of a peti- <br /> tion by property owners and residents requesting the City <br /> Council to call a special election for the purpose of <br /> submitting to the electors of Santa Aha the proposition <br /> to borrow from the United States Government the sum of <br /> $70,000.00 for the construction of a modern City Hall <br /> Building upon the property owned by the City at Third <br /> and Main Streets. No action was taken. <br /> <br /> On motion of T~ustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br /> carried, the recommendatioh of the City Auditor was <br /> approved and the bid of E. M. Sundquist, Agent of the <br /> General Insurance~Company of America in amount of <br /> $1,829.31 covering fire and theft, public liability and <br /> property damage on the City~s fleet of automobiles, was <br /> accepted. <br /> <br /> <br />
