Fenn to operate a <br />miniature race track for children at the southwest corner <br />of First and Orange Streets, was referred to the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />A petition was presented signed by 2773 residents and <br />electors in the City of Santa Ana requesting the City <br />Council to call a special election for the purpose of <br />submitting to the electors of the City the proposition to <br />to borrow from the United States Government the sum of <br />$70,000.00 for the purpose of conSructing a modern City <br />Hall Building upon the real property owned by the City at <br />Third and Main Streets. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Hasenjaeger and <br />carried, the petition was referred to the City Clerk and <br />At torney. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br /> carried, the recommendation of the Btt~hasing Agent was <br /> approved and the bid of the Sawyer Motor Company on one <br /> 2~ ton ~ndiana truck chassis amount of $1661.75 was <br /> accepted and the Clerk instructed to return the checks <br /> of the unsuccessful bidders. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by LeGaye and <br /> carried, the Chair was authorized to appoint Messrs. <br /> <br /> J. S. Smart, Hugh Gerrard, W. D. Ranney, W. H. Spurgeon <br /> Jr. and George A.
