First Street was ordered posted special uses and the hearing date set June 12th, in accordance with the application of Ha~ry E. Rinehart to conduct a Greenhouse or Numeery at said location. On motic~ of T~ustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, June 12th, 1933, at 7.'50 P.M., in the Council Chamber. Santa Aha City Hall. In Re Communication Business Men's Assn. In Re Application Julia Sultzer. In Re Application B. J. Durbin. On motion of T~ustee Penn, seconded by LeGaye and carried, the communication of the ~usiness Monte Association eom- mending the Council, Fire Chief and Police Chief for the method evolved in staggering employment of the personnel in the Fire and Police Department to provide a maximum protection to the co,-,unit$, was received and filed. On motion cf Trustee Warner, seccmded by Penn and carried, the application of Julia Sultser for permission to sell beer and wine in Confection with her restaurant, 1904 W. Fifth Street, was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by LeGaye and cem- tied, the application of B. J. Durbin for permission to erect a frame stand on the second and third lots north of Edinger Street on Main Street for the purpose of display- ~ flowers, was referred to the Plannin6 Commission.
