RESOLUTION NO. 53-105 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, <br />AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WORK OR <br />IMPROVEMENT ORDERED BY RESOLUTION <br />NO. 53-78 OF SAID CITY COUNCIL. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council, on the 1st day of June, <br />1953, duly adopted Resolution No. 53-78 ordering the follow- <br />ing work to be done or improvement to be made, to wit: All <br />that certain work or improvement described in Resolution <br /> <br />No. 53-43, duly adopted by this City Council on the 30th day <br />of March, 1953; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to and in accordance with said <br />Resolution No. 53-78, a notice inviting sealed bids or pro- <br />posals for doing said work or improvement was duly published <br />and posted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M., July 6, <br />1953, at the Council Chambers of this City Council, the time <br />and place fixed for the opening of said sealed bids or pro- <br />posals, all sealed bids or proposals for said work which were <br />delivered to the Clerk of the Council were presented to this <br />City Council and, in open session, were publicly opened, <br />examined and declared; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council finds that said resolutions <br />were duly adopted and contained the matters and things required <br />by law and that all notices required by law have been duly <br />given and all hearings required by law duly held and that each <br />and every step in the proceedings prior to and including the <br />opening of said bids has been duly and regularly taken and that <br /> <br /> <br />
