Santa Aha City Hall. <br /> <br />February 26th, 1934. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular adjourned session. <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner, <br />W.H. Penn, A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Invitation <br /> <br />American Legion. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Approval of Repair <br /> <br />Work on J.0. Sewer. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />W. J. Feirber. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Property at <br /> <br />6th & Olive Sts. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />4 Sq. Gospel Church. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Application <br /> <br />Nazarene Church. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />darried, the communication of the American Legion Post <br />151 inviting the Council to attend the dinner meeting <br />March 8th and the reception at the laying of the corner- <br />stone at their new hall March 10th, was accepted with <br />thanks and the Clerk was instructed to advise the Legion <br />of the action taken by the Council. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the com~unications from the Cities of Anaheim, <br />Fullert.on, Orange and La Habra approving and authorizing <br />repairs and expenditu~, es on the Joint 0utfall Sewer, to <br />be done as a C.W.A. Project, .were received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Penn and <br />carried, the application of W. J. Felrber for permission <br />to conduct a Used Sar Market at VO8 E. Fourth Street, was <br />referred to the Planning Commission for recommendation. <br />On motion of Trustee Warner, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br /> <br />carried, the application of W. J. Feirber to conduct a <br />under special uses <br />Used Car Market at 708 E. Fourth Street was ~rante~on <br /> <br />recommendation of the Planning Co~zission. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried <br />the Chair was authorized to appoint a committee to have <br />an appraisal made on the property at the southwest corner <br />of Sixth and Olive Street offered for sale by Otto Peter- <br />son and C. L- Johnson for the sum of $2500.00. Trustees <br />HasenJaeger and LeGaye and the City Attorney were appoin- <br />ted as the c~ittee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried <br />the application of Rev. Myers of the Four Square Gospel <br />Church for permission to conduct church services on the <br />street at Fourth and Bush, Saturday nights, was granted. <br /> <br />No action was taken on the application of John C. Swaffo~ <br />of the Nazarene Church at Fifth and Patton Streets for <br />permission to hold church services on the street. <br /> <br /> <br />
