Santa Arm City Hall. <br /> <br />April 2nd, 1934. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Witmer. <br /> <br />Present: TrusteeE A.F. LeGaye, E.G. Warner. <br />W.H. Penn,~A.C. HasenJaeger, Paul B. Witmer. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />Minutes of meetings of March 19th and 26th <br /> were approved. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Warrant of <br /> <br />Sou. Counties <br /> <br />Gas Co. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Electric Sign. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Monthly Reports. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Warrants. <br /> <br /> In Re <br /> <br />· Appointment H.E.Holmes <br />Special Police Officer. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids on <br /> <br />Police Car. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner,' and carrie, <br />the warrant of the Southern Counties Gas Company in <br />amount of $38?7.99 covering franchise tax for year ending <br />December 31st, 1933, was referred to the City Attorney <br />and Auditor for checking. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carted, the application of MacFarlane Electric for per- <br />mission to hang an electric.sign for the French Academy <br />of Beauty at 408 N. Main Street, was granted under super- <br />vision of the Electrical Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee HasenJaeger, seconded by Warner and <br />carried, the monthly reports for March of the City Offi- <br />cers, were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by HasenJaeger and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw warl'ants accord <br />lng to demands audited by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Warner and carried <br />the application of H. E. Holmes for appointment as specisd <br />police officer to be stationed at the Hof Brau, was <br />granted on recommendation of Trustee Warner and the Chief <br />of Police. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Hasenjaeger, seconded by Penn and <br /> carried, the Clerk was instructed to open bids for one <br /> <br />sedan automobile as follows: <br /> <br />Cadillac Garage Co.---Plymouth <br />George Dunton ......... Ford (8) <br />L.D. Coffing Co. ......
