RESOLUTION NO. 5~-13~ AUTHORIZING E~CUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEED WH~EA~, the City of Santa Ann owns a small, triangular piece of real property East of Main Street and South of Santa Clara Avenue, a portion of which is not being beneficially used by said City; and W~i~REAS, THOMAS W. COSGROVE and ZELLA J. COSGROVE own adjoin- lng property which is so developed that there is not sufficient room along the northerly portion thereof for ingress and egress to and from the easterly portion of said property, and desire to purchase from the City, a strip of land 10 feet in width for the purpose of obtaining such ingress and egress; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ann hereby authorizes the execution of a quitclaim deed on the part of said City to THOMAS W. COSGROVE and ZE~JA J. COSGROVE, a married woman, as Joint tenants, covering the following described property, in the City of Santa Ann, County of Orange, State of California: The Southerly 10 feet of the following described property: Beginning at a point 37.5 feet easterly from the center line of Main Street and 75.8 feet southerly from the monu- mented center line of Santa Clara Avenue as it exists east- erly from Main Street, said point being on the Easterly right-of-way line of Main Street as it now exists, running thence Easterly 30.12 feet to a point in the Southwesterly right-of-way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad distant 56.94 feet Southeasterly from a line which is 25 feet South- erly from and parallel to the above mentioned monumented center line of Santa Clara Avenue; thence Northwesterly along said Southwesterly right-of-way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad 5$.94 feet to a point in a line which is 25 feet Southerly from and parallel to the monumented center line of Santa Clara Avenue; thence Westerly along said line ~.04 feet to a point in the Easterly line of Main Street; thence South- erly along the Easterly line of Main Street, said line being 37.5 feet Easterly from and parallel to the center line of Main Street, a distance of 50.80 feet to the Point of Begin- ning. Reserving therefrom the Westerly 7.5 feet thereof for street purposes, and the Mayor and Clerk of the Council are hereby instructed to execute said quitclaim deed on behalf of said City, conveying the same as hereinabove set out and to deliver said deed to said grantees
