V~litney, etal. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Conveyance of Property <br /> <br />Charles H. ~Tnitney. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Conveyance of Property <br /> <br />Laura Wo!fert. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the City Attorney was directed to draft an Ordinance to <br />Ordinance No. 1010 reducing the plastering permit fees as <br />requested by the Plastering & Lathing Contractors Association <br />and on recommendation of the Building Inspector. <br /> <br />A petitlan was read signed by nine photographers opposing ~he <br />re~eal of Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1003. On motion of <br />Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton,the proposed Ordinance <br />repealing Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1003 as presented by the <br />City Attorney, was taken under advisement and referred to a <br />committee to investigate and report back at the next meeting. <br />Trustees Bruns, Penn and the City Attorney were appointed as <br />the conmittee. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Ayes, Trustees W. H. Penn, Ernest H. Layton. <br /> Noes, Trustees Plumner W. Brtuns, Joseph P. Smith. <br /> Absent, Trustee Fred C. Rowland. <br /> <br />The motion was lost for lack of a majority. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the Ordinance repealing Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1003 regu- <br />lating photography ;vas placed on file for second reading and <br />the Chair to appoint a committee to investigate and report <br />back. The City Attorney, Trustees Penn and Bruns were <br />appointed as the committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the proposed agreement between the City of Santa Ana and <br />Richard Haster relative to the use of the City's roadway <br />across the Santa Ana River on the westerly prolongation of <br />Fairview Avenue at the City Dumpground, was referred to the <br />City Attorney for recommendation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the following Minute Resolution was adopted: <br /> <br /> Be it Resolved that the City of Santa Ana, a municipal <br />corporation, hereby accepts from Charles H. Whitney, Leroy <br />Whitney, Carl E. Whitney, also known as Carel E. ~nitney, <br />and Oliver F. Whitney the conveyance of the property des- <br />cribed with_the within deed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the following Minute Resolution was adopted: <br /> <br /> Be it Resolved that the City of Santa Ana, a municipal <br />corporation, hereby accepts from Charles H. Whitney as <br />guardian of the Estate of Helen G. ~nitney, an insane and <br />incoherent person the conveyance of the property described <br />with the within deed. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layt0n, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> <br />the following Minute Resolution was adopted: <br /> <br /> Be it Resolved that the City of Santa Ana, a municipal <br />corporation, hereby accepts from Laura Wolfe~t the conveyance <br />of the property described with the within deed. <br /> <br /> <br />
