RESOLUTION NO. 53-164 REQUESTING STATE HIGHWAY DEPART- <br /> MENT T0' DESIGNATE FIRST STREET FROM MAIN TO THE EAST <br /> CITY LIMITS AS A MAJOR CITY STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aaa has received notice from the <br />State Highway Department that First Street from Main to the East <br />City Limits will no longer be a State Highway Route through the City; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Street is an important link and part of the high- <br />way system of the City of Santa Ann and the County of Orange; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aaa hereby designates First Street from Main to the <br />East City Limits as a Major City Street because of its importance to <br />the integrated Highway System as it now exists in said City and the <br />County of Orange and requests the Highway Department of the State of <br />California to approve such designation. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by t~e City Council of the City of Santa Ann <br /> <br />at its regular meeting held on the ?th day of December , <br /> ~YOR <br /> <br />ATTEST~ <br /> CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE )SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> I, ERMA KEELER, Clerk of the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ann, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and <br />regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ann at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of December <br />1953 by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> AYES, COUNCILMEN: WilliamJermme, J.
