RESOLUTION NO. ~h-17 AUTHORIZING ~-iE CONDE]\.INATION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STq~EET PURPOSES, TO RE- ALIGN EXTEND OtlANGE AVEI IE 50UTI- , LY WHERF~AS, Orange Avenue as it now exists 2curb of Central Avenue has been ordered realigned though no construction work has yet been done and the Public Utilities Co~amission of the 3tare of California has granted authority by Decision No. 48030 to relocate the crossing over the tracks of the Pacific Electric Railway Company and said re- alignment will cross the properties ~ereinbelow described; NOW, T~EP~]FORE, BE iT RESOLVED: TP. at the City Oouncil of the City of Santa ~na hereby finds and determines that the public inter- est and necessity require that Orange Avenue be extended, realigned, and connected South of Adams~reet to provide through traffic flow, all as shown on a map thereof now on file in the Office of the City Engineer end herein referred to for greater detail and further require that the City have, take and acquire, an easement for said purposes and for all other purposes of a public street over and t~ough that certain real property lying in the City of Santa ~.na, County of Orange, State of California and described as: PARCEL A: Beginning at a point on the South line of Lot 8 in Block "G" of ~outh Santa Ann, as shown on a l~ap recorded in Boo~ 5, page $~ of Miscellaneous ,~Japs, records of Orange County, California, 16.27 feet Westerly from the Southeast cor- ner of said Lot 8; thence North 89 59' 10" East along the South line of said Lot 8, 16.27 feet to the Joutheast corner of said Lot 8; thence North along the East line of said Lot 8, 150 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 8; thence South 89© 59' 10" West along the North line of said Lot 8, 2.02 feet to a point; thence ~outh 2° 53' 40" West 88.70 feet to the beginning of a curve; thence along the arc of a curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 290 feet an arc distance of 62.19 feet to the point of beginning.
