Realty Corp. <br /> <br /> Council Chambers on the night of December 12th, was received <br /> and filed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the request of E. L. Vegely, City Clerk, for permission to <br /> leave the State for a period of ten days, was granted. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br /> the applications of William E. Bast and of William B. Smith, <br /> to drive taxicabs for Courtesy Cab Company and Broadway Cab <br /> Company, respectively, were granted on recommendation of the <br /> Taxicab Commission. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br /> the application of Jack Fisher Chapter, D.A.V. of the World <br /> War, requestf_ng permission to sell tickets for the Eighth <br /> Annual Military Ball in the City of Santa Aha, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the application of ~,~. E. J~emlson for a permit to conduct a <br />bow!ir~ alley in the basement of the Pacific Building at <br />~ird and Broad'~vay, was referred to the Police Commissioner <br />and Chief of Police to investigate and report back. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smlth, seconded by Penn and carried, <br />the applicatLon of W. C. Osborne for a permit to conduct a <br />pool hall at 902 E. Fourth Street, was referred to the Police <br />Commissioner and Chief of Police to investigate and report <br />back. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, the <br />application of Williams & Warner to move their radio shop <br />from G34 W. First Street to 422 S. Flo-~ver Street, v:as referred <br />to the Planning Co=nlssion for recommendation. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the communication of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Rail- <br />way Company requesting favorable support from the Council <br />towards securing a permit from the Railroad Commission to <br />operate stage lines between San Francisco and San Diego &nd <br /> <br />co-ordinating with their rail service, was referred to the <br />Council as a whole to investigate and report back at the earl <br />possible time. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Layton, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the application of the Santa ~ua Realty Corporation to erect <br />two-eight family apartment house on property described as <br />approximately 200 feet west of Broadway on Tenth Street, was <br />referred to the Planning Commission.
