RESOLUTION NO. 54-38 GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO C~ANA OF THAT CERTAIN UN- INHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "SANTA ANA HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT", AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO ~EtEREAS, the owners of certain real property hereinbelow described have filed a petition with the Clerk of the Council, requesting that the City of Santa Ana, California annex said real property, stating that said real property is uninhabited, con-- senting in writing that'said real property may be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to such annexation; and WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California has approved the description of said real property as herein set out for the purpose of annexation and the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has approved the annexation of said territoryl NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares its intention to annex all that certain territory under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that said territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than 12 registered voters residing in it on March ll, 1954, the date when said petition was filed, and finds that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described as: Beginning at a point in the center line of Edinger Street, distant 2641.92 feet Westerly from the in-. tersection of the center line of Edinger Street with the center line of Bristol Street, said point of be- ginning being an angle point in the Santa Ana City Boundary; thence South 0° ll' 40" West 1071.21 feet to a point; thence.South 89° 29' ~0" West 121~.~O feet to a point; thence North 2o 45' 36" West 60.05 feet to a point; thence South 89° 29' ~0" West 59.67 feet to the East line of Center Street; thence North 00 30' 20" West along the East line of Center Street and its Northerly extension lO11.13 feet to the center line of Edinger Street; thence North 89° 29' 40" East along the center line of Edinger Street 629.52 feet to a point; thence North 0° 2~' 19" West 330.00'feet to a point; thence North 89 29' 40" East 659o12 feet to a point in the Santa Ana City Boundary; thence South 0© 33' 30" East along said Boundary line 3B0.00 feet to the point of beginning.
