RESOLUTION NO. 54-5,7 <br /> <br />HONORING THE ?~UNICIPAL SERVICE OF HUGH M. NEIGHBOUR <br /> <br /> ITH~REAS, the gentleman who has for mar~ years been the City <br />Engineer, Superintendent of Streets and Superintendent of the Water <br />Department for the City of Santa Ana, ~r. Hugh M. Neighbour has declared <br />his intention to retire from the service of the City, and <br /> <br /> YJtEREAS, Hugh LL Neighbour has been for twenty-five years an <br />officer of this City and has during that period shown unquestionable <br />devotion to the best interests of the people of this City, and <br /> <br /> V~%LER~ZAS, he has carried the mar~ responsibilities of his several <br />offices with outstanding distinction and integrity, his record representing <br />to his mar~f friends, colleagues and acquaintances throughout the State of <br />California, a standard of rectitude and unselfish service unsurpassed in <br />the public service; <br /> <br /> NOW, ~qEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City <br />of Santa Ana does hereby declare that the record for devotion to duty and <br />contribution to the public well-being made by Hugh M.
