RESOLUTION NO. 54-63 GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO CITY OF SANTA ANA OF THAT CERTAIN INHABI'£mI~ TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "ANTONE BORCHARD ANNEX", AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO WHEREAS, the owners of certain real property hereinbelow des- cribed have filed a petition with the Clerk of the Cou~cil, requesting that the City of Santa Ana~ C~lifornia srzuex said real property, stating that said real property is uninhabited, consenting in writing that said real property may be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to such -~nexation; and WHEREAS, the Boundary Commf~sion of Orange County, California has approved the description of said real property as herein set out for the purpose of annexation and the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has approved the annexation Of said territory; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby declares its intention to annex all that certain territory under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that said territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than 12 registered voters residing in it on May 14, 1954, the date when said petition was filed, that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described as: Beginning at a point on the North line of Section 25, T. 5 R. l0 W., S.B.B.&M., 990 feet Westerly from the Northeast corner of said Section 25, said point of beginning also being a point on the boundary line of the City of Santa Aha, California; running thence North 89° 22' 10" West along said boundary line and the center line of Delhi Road, 1588.00 feet to a point; thence South 0° 39' 45" West, 3058.27 feet to the Northwesterly Ri~ht-of-Way line of the Pacific Electric Railway; thence North 60v 53' 30" East along said Northwesterly Right-of-Way line, 1829.45 feet to a point; thence North 0v 39' 45" East, 2150.78 feet to the point of beginning. That the Council hereby designates "ANTONE BORCHARD ANNEX" as an appropriate name for said -nnexation. That said City Council hereby declares its intention to and it will ,nnex said territory to and include it within the Santa Aha Elementary School District and upon the completion of said -nnexation, said territory shall be and become a part of said School District.
