RESOLUTION NO. 54-65 ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Edward J. LaMere and Genevieve LaMere, husband and wife, <br />have presented to the City Council a grant deed dated April 20, 1954, in <br />consideration of Twenty-one Thousand a~d Six Hundred Dollars ($21,600.00)~ <br />conveying property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of <br />California, described as: <br /> <br /> PARCEL 1: Beginning at a point in the center of Artesia <br />Street, 380 feet North of the intersection with the center <br />line of Hickey Street, running thence West parallel with the <br />center line of Hickey Street, 832.39 feet, more or less, to <br />land conveyed to J. H. Young by deed recorded December 10, <br />1903 in book 98, page 198 of Deeds; thence North 318 feet, <br />more or less, to the Northeast corner of said ¥oung's land; <br />thence East 542.52 feet; thence South 292.71 feet; thence <br />East 289.87 feet to the center line of Artesia Street; thence <br />South 26.89 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> EXCEPTING therefrc~ that portion included in Lot G of <br />Tract No. 521, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 23~ <br />page 32 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County. <br /> <br /> PARCEL 2: Beginning at a point 36.96 chains West of the <br />East line of Section tl, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, <br />San Bernardlno Base and Meridian, and 6.165 chains North of <br />the North line of the Chaves Allo+~m~nt in the Rancho Santiago <br />de Santa Aha, said point being in the center of Artesia Street <br />and running thence West 4.392 chains; thence North 4.435 chains <br />to the land now or formerly owned by Ben Fallert; thence East <br />4.392 chains to the center of Artesia Street and thence South <br />4.435 chains to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> EXCEPTING therefrom that portion included in Lots F and <br />G and Lots 12, 13, 15, and 16 of Tract No. 521, as shown on a <br />map thereof recorded in book 23, page 32 of Miscellaneous Maps, <br />records of said Orange County. <br /> <br /> ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom that portion of Parcel 2 now sub- <br />divided as Lot 14 of said Tract No. 521, as shown on a map <br />thereof recorded in book 23, page 32 of Miscellaneous Maps, <br />records of said Orange County, California. <br /> <br /> NOW, ','H~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha accepts <br />said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said <br />deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of ~anta Aha at <br />its regular meeting held on the 17th day of ~y , 1954. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> C~K OF '~.'~; COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
