RESOLUTION NO. 5h-76 DECLARING INTENTION TO ESTABLISH <br />SETBACK LINES ALONG '£'IdE EAST SIDE OF McCLAY STREET AND <br />ALONG '1'~ NORTH SIDE OF SEVENTEENTH STREET AND FIXING <br />DATE OF NEARING T~u~REOF. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Counci4 by Resolution No. 5k-68, initiated pro- <br />ceedings to establish setback lines as herein described and referred the <br />question thereof to the Plauning C~t ssion for rec ....... endation, and the <br />pl,n,ing Corem1 ssion rectum-haled approval of said setback lines. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City <br />of Santa An~ hereby declares its intention to establish setback lines as <br />provided for in Sections 9155 through 9158, inclusive, Santa Aha Municipal <br />Code, as follows: <br /> <br />AREA 1. A setback along the east side of McClay Street from <br />Chestnut to McFadden, 54 feet from the surveyed center line <br />of McClay Street measured at right angles. <br /> <br />AREA 11. A setback along the north side of West 17th Street <br />fr~n Bristol Street west to a point 138.?1 feet east of the <br />surveyed center line of Alona Street, lb0 feet north of the <br />surveyed center line of West l?th Street measured at right <br />angle S. <br /> <br /> BE IT FUR'I'aER RESOLVED: That 7:30 o'clock P. M. on the 6th day of <br />July, 1954, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Third and Main Street, <br />Santa Ana, California, is hereby established as the hour and place of hearing <br />when all persons h~vlng any objection to the establishment of said proposed <br />setback lines may al~pear and present their arguments. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTFE. R RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council is hereby <br />directed to publish notice of said hearing by publishing a copy of this <br />Resolution once in the Santa Anm Independent, and the Engineer's office <br />is directed to post one copy of this Resolution conspicuously upon said street <br />in front of each block of said street where said set back line is proposed to <br />be established.
