RESOLUTION NO. 54-9? ACCEPTING EASEMENT DEED <br /> FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, DOXANDER P. LEONARD and EDNA M. LEONARD, husband and wife, <br /> <br />have presented to the City Council an easement deed dated March 23, 1954, <br /> <br />without consideration, conveying property in the City of Santa Ana, County of <br /> <br />Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> An easement for surface drainage purposes only, over and along <br />the East 12 feet of the Nort~690.98 feet of Lot 14 of Potts, Borden <br />and Sidwell Tract, in the County of Orange, State of California, as <br />shown on a map thereof recorded in book 4, at page 624 of Misce]laueous <br />Records of Los Angeles County, California. <br /> <br /> The grantors herein, their successors and assigns, shall have the <br />right to use and maintain said 12 foot strip as a private roadway, <br />with access thereto at any point. <br /> <br /> The easement deed is given for the purpose of providing drainage <br />for proposed Tract No. 2089, and if the map of said Tract No. 2089 <br />is not recorded within one year from date, or if satisfactory drain- <br />age is provided along another route, the surface drainage easement <br />herein granted shall cease and be abandoned. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts <br /> <br />said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed <br /> <br />to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California. <br /> <br />PASSED ~D ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at <br /> <br />its adjourned regular meeting held on the 23th day of June , 1954. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, E~KEF~RR, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the Council of <br />the City of Santa Arm; that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced to <br />said Council at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 28th . day <br />of June , 1954, and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted <br />by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, COUNCILMF~N: William Jerome, Thomas F.
