RESOLUTION NO. -~ GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO CITY OF SANTA ~NA OF THAT CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIg- NATED '~ABYIDN ANNEXATION", AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERJ~TO. WHEREAS, the owners of certain real property hereinbelow described have filed a petition with the Clerk of the Council, requesting that the City of Santa Ana, California annex said real property, stating that said real property is uninhabited, consenting in writing that said real property may be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to such annexation; and WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California, has approved the description of said real property as herein set out for the purpose of annexation and the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has approved the annexation of said territory; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares its intention to annex all that certain territory under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that said territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than 12 registered voters residing ~n it on June 24, 1954, the date when said petition was filed,that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ama,California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described as: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Southeast quarter (SE¼) of the ~ortheast quarber (NE¼) of Section 23, Township 5 South, Range l0 ~Vest, S.B.B. &M., said point being the North- east corner of that certain 4.95 acre parcel of land shown on a Licensed Surveyors Map, filed in Book 27, at page 41, of Record of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, Califon~ia; running thence along the boundary line of said 4.95 acre parcel of land the following courses and distances, North 89° 55' 50" West 331.86 feet to a point; thence South 0° 46' ~0" West 649.44 feet to a point; thence South 89° 55' 50" East 331.86 feet to a point; thence North 0© 46' ~O" East ~49.44 feeb to the point of beginning.
