RESOLUTION NO. 54-163 ACCEPTING EASEMENT D~:.:u OF PROPERTY
<br />FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, EENN~.qfH B. EDWAKDS, a single man, has presented to the City Council
<br />
<br />a grant deed, dated September 29, 1954, for valuable consideration in the amount of
<br />
<br />$1,043.00, conveying property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of
<br />
<br />California, described as:
<br />
<br /> An easement for drainage purposes, including but not limited to the in-
<br />stallation, maintenance, repair and replacement of drainage pipe lines over,
<br />under and across that portion of a strip of land 20 feet in width being l0
<br />feet on either side measured at right angles to a straight line between a
<br />point on the center line of First Street, 1247.84 feet East of the center
<br />line of Sullivan, and a point on the North line of Lot 5, in Tract No. 270,
<br />in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on
<br />a map thereof recorded in book 13, page 48, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
<br />said Orange County, 3.4 feet Westerly from the Northeast corner of said
<br />Lot 5, lying within the following described property:
<br /> Beginning at a point in the center line of First Street, in the City of
<br />Santa Ana, California, which said point is distant Easterly, measured along
<br />said center line 410.56 feet from the intersection of said center line of
<br />First Street, with the center line of Sullivan Street, and r, mning thence
<br />from said point of beginning Northerly parallel with said center line of
<br />Sullivan Street, 602.32 feet to a point in the South line of that certain
<br />tract of land described in deed to E. C. Amling & P. F. Amling, recorded in
<br />book 393, page 90, Deeds, records of said Orange County, said South line be-
<br />ing the Westerly extension of the center line of Third Street in the City of
<br />Santa Aha; thence Easterly along said extension of the center line of Third
<br />Street 1054.00 feet to a point, being the Northwest corner of a certain tract
<br />of land conveyed to Evelyn M. Trueblood and Benj-m~u H. Trueblood by Grantors
<br />herein by deed dated April 24, 1946; thence Southerly parallel with the center
<br />line of Sullivan Street and along the Westerly line of the tract so conveyed
<br />to Evelyn M. Trueblood and Benjamin H. Trueblood, 602.32 feet to a point in
<br />the center line of First Street; thence Westerly along the center line of
<br />First Street 1054.00 feet to the point of beginning.

<br />NOW, THEHEFOBE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said deed
<br />
<br />and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed to be recorded
<br />
<br />with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
<br />
