~ESOLUTION NO. ~-16h ACCEPTING EASEMENT D.~.~.r~ OF
<br />PROPERTY FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES
<br />
<br />CLARENCE AMLING ROSES~ INC., a corporation, has presented
<br />
<br />to the City Council a grant deed, dated September 28, 1954, for valuable
<br />
<br />consideration in the amount of $100.00, conveying property in the City of
<br />
<br />Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
<br />
<br /> An easement for d~ainage purposes, including but not limited to
<br />the installation, maintenance, repair and replacement of d~ainage
<br />pipe lines, over~ under and across that portion of a strip of land
<br />20' in width being 10' on either side measured at right angles to a
<br />straight line between a point on the center line of First Street,
<br />1247.84' east of the center line of Sullivan, and a point on the
<br />north line of Lot 5, Tract 270, in said city, county and state, as
<br />shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 13, page ~8, Miscellaneous
<br />M~ps, records of said Orange County, 3.4' westerly from the north-
<br />east corner of said Lot 5, lying within the following described
<br />property:

<br /> Beginning at the southeast corner of that certain parcel of
<br />land conveyed to Ernst C. Amling & Paul F. Amling by deed recorded
<br />June 5, 1926 in Book 657, page 105, Deeds, records of said Orange
<br />County, and running thence from said point of beginning north along
<br />the east line of the above mentioned parcel of land 398.47' to a
<br />point in the southwesterly line of the Pacific Electric right of
<br />way thence southeasterly and easterly along said right of way to
<br />the intersection with the west line of Townsend Street, thence south
<br />along said west line of Townsend Street, 275.36' to the intersection
<br />with the westerly extension of the center line of Third Street,
<br />thence west parallel with the center line of First Street 1010.53'
<br />to the point of beginning.

<br /> NOW, THE~0~E, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said
<br />deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed to be
<br />
<br />recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
