Clevenger and Clayton E. <br />McKeeth for permits to drive taxicabs for the Blue Cab Com- <br />pany, were granted on recommendation of the Taxicab Commissic. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the applications of Electrical Contractors to hang electrical <br />signs, were granted under supervision of the Electrical <br />Inspector, as follows: <br /> <br /> The George Belsey Co. Ltd. 506-08 N. Broadway (2 signs <br /> Walter L. Bunge 1601 E First St. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />the application of Noel L. Woodward for appointment as a <br />special police officer without pay, in the employ of Gilbert <br />F. Wagner, merchant police, was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee <br />Ben K6ral, James R. <br /> <br />Bruns, seconded by Layton and carried, <br />Smith, Carl Krauchi, Paul J. Wallace <br /> <br />and Roy Ferguson were appointed special police officers of <br />the City of Santa Ana without pay. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the report of J. L. McBride, Maintenance Engineer, showing <br />the total sewage flow in gallons of the participating cities <br />and Sanitary Districts in the Joint 0utfall Sewer District <br />for the calendar years 1935, 1936 and 1937, was approved and <br />the City Auditor so notified. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the minutes of the Forestry Board for the meeting held <br />January 25th, 1938, were received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Penn, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the monthly reports of the various city officers for the <br />month of January, were referred to the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Smith and carried, <br />the Clerk was instructed to draw warrants according to the <br />monthly demands audited by the Finance Committee numbering <br />from 1807 to 2058 inclusive. <br /> <br /> <br />
