No. ~060 <br /> <br />Declaring State of <br /> <br />Emergency. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Reso. No. 3061 <br /> <br />Accepting Deed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Smith, seconded by Keleey and carried, <br /> the recommendation of the Chief of Police for the appointment <br /> of Hamlin Harold Ely and of Harlan N. Faccou as police offi- <br /> cers of the City, was received and referred to the Department <br /> of Public Safety. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Yost and carried, <br />the name of Hamlin Harold Ely was ordered placed on the six <br />months probationary list of the Police Department and the <br />Civil Service Board and Personnel Officer ordered notified. <br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Hill and carried, <br />the name of Harlan N. Faccou was ordered placed on the <br />emergency list of the Police Department and the Civil Service <br />Board and Personnel Officer ordered notified. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Yost and carried, <br />the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1099 of the City <br /> of Banta Aha" <br /> <br />wt~ich created a Major Disaster Emergency Plan for the Safe- <br />guarding of Life, Health and Property to change the name of <br />the various committees under said Ordinance to read "Banta <br />Ana Civilian Defense Council", was read, considered, desig- <br />nated Ordinance No. ll0$ and passed as an Emergency Ordinance <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Herbert L. Hill, Joseph P. Bmith, <br /> E. D. Yost, D. W. Kelsey, Plummet W. Bruns. <br /> <br /> Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Noes, <br />Absent, <br /> <br />Trustees None. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Hill, seconded by Yost and carried, <br /> <br /> a Resolution Declaring State of Emergency exists and that <br /> public calamity and disaster has occurred as provided in <br /> Ordinance No. 1099 of the City of Banta Aha and that provi- <br /> sions as set forth in said Ordinance for the functioning of <br /> the Banta Ana Civilian Defense Council shall be in full force <br /> and effect until further resolution of the City Council, was <br /> read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3060 and passed <br /> by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Herbert L. Hill, Joseph P. Smith, <br /> E. D. Yost, D. W. Kelsey, Plummer W.
