Davis, 90B W. 4th St. <br /> <br />were referred to the Department of Public Safety. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Hill and carried, <br /> <br />the communication of the Assistance League of Orange County <br /> and the Park Department <br />thanking the Council/for its cooperation during their flower <br /> <br />show, was received and filed. <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, <br /> <br />seconded by Hill and carried, <br /> <br />the applications of Ed Newman and Glen Baum to drive taxicab~ <br />were granted on recommendation of the Taxicab Commission. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Hill and carried, <br />the application of the Santa Aha Neon Company to hang an <br />electric sign for Chas. C. Cunningham at 1902 N. Main Street <br />was granted upon signing of the regular form of agreement <br />covering signs which extend over set-back line. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Yost and carried, <br />the ~communicstion of C. A. Blakely, Rear Admiral, U.S. Navy, <br />expressing appreciation for the space provided in the City <br /> <br />Hall for the Naval Reserve, <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Yost, <br /> <br />was received and filed. <br /> <br />seconded by Hill and carried, the <br /> <br /> request of the Richfield Oil Corporation to construct a ser- <br /> vice station with canopy of a cantilever type of construction <br /> canopy extending over set-back line on Broadway, at the <br /> west corner of Beventeenth and Broadway, was granted upon <br /> signing of agreement to remove canopy whenever the City re- <br /> quests it for widening of North Broadway. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Hill and carried, the <br />communication of Ruth Griffith, ?18 W.
