Mandy, D.W.Kelsey, <br />Joseph P. Smith. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees None <br /> <br />The Clerk cormmenced the reading of the Minutes and each <br />member of the City Council having received copies of the <br />Minutes of December ~lst, further reading of the Minutes <br />was dispensed with and approved on motion of Trustee <br />Kelsey, seconded by Mandy and carried. <br /> <br />Council Chamber <br /> <br />Santa Aha City Hall <br /> <br />January 4th, 1943. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Applications <br /> <br />Taxicab Drivers <br /> <br />7:~0 P.M. <br /> <br />carried, <br /> <br />for the <br /> <br />that he is under age. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Bruns <br /> <br /> and <br />carried, permits are to be denied to all applicants to <br />drive taxicabs who are under twenty-one years of age <br />and temporary permits to be picked up by the Traffic <br />Department. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Bruns and <br />carried, applications of Helen Toni Siefert, Gordon <br />Butch, Matthew Ver Hoer, Garland 0'Neal, Vtona McWatters <br />Howard P. Shermer, Modena J. Stober, Vivienne H. Hansen, <br />John J. Carpenter, and Floyd S. Kohler, to drive taxi- <br />cabs for the Broadway Cab Co., were received and permits <br />granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, seconded by Bruns and <br /> <br /> application of Wm. T. Ranker to drive taxicabs <br /> Broadway Cab Co., was denied for the reason <br /> <br /> <br />
