Rasmussen, Chief <br /> Building Inspector, at the 21st Annual Convention held <br /> in San Francisco the first week in October, was received <br /> and filed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br /> carried, communication From Diehl ~ Company stating that <br /> they had completed their examination of the books and <br /> acco~mts of the City of Santa Ana covering the quarter <br /> beginning July 1st, 1943 and ending September 30th, 1943 <br /> was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the request of W.A.Taylo~, Secy.-Treas.First <br />Methodist Church, that a 15 mimute, 50 ft. parking zone <br />be designated on the north side of Sixth St. between <br />Spurgeon and French Sts., extending from the entrance to <br />the office, and the entrance to the basement dining-room <br />of the Church, was referred to the Street Dept. and <br />Police Dept. to investigate an5 report back at the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />A con~untcation was read from Forgy, Reinhaus & Forgy, <br />representing Messrs. Foust, Lewis, Baer, Allen and <br />Rowland, owners of property on either Chestnut St. or <br />McClay St., near the intersection of these two streets, <br />relative to change of grade on Chestnut Avenue and other <br />work in connection with the diversion of water from Lyon <br />St. to McClay St. <br /> <br />After considerable discussion between Fred Forgy, Atty., <br />City Street Supt. and property owners, the Chair <br />recommended that the grade be put back to its original <br />level and to work out a system of drainage that will <br />carry the water in its natural course. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deakert, seconded by Cheney amd <br />carried, the communication was received and filed. <br /> <br /> <br />
