Cheney, <br />Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None <br /> Absent,Trustees None <br /> <br />The request of W.A.Taylor, <br /> <br />Secy.-Treas.First Methodist <br /> <br />ChUrCh,'that a 15 minute, 50 ft. parking zone be <br />designated on the north side of Sixth St. between <br />Spurgeon and French Sts., was read. <br /> <br />0nmoti0n of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Establishing Time Limit Parking <br /> Zone Under Section 9 of Ordinance No.1030" <br /> <br />providing for a 20 minute parking zone on the north side <br />of Sixth St. between Spurgeon and French Sts., located <br />as follows: The Easterly 41 ft. of the Westerly 180 ft, <br />was introduced, read, considered, designated Resolution <br />No. 5517 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br />Absent,Trustees <br /> <br />Dale G. Deckert, <br />Otto R. Haan, <br />Asa Hofflnan. <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />W. Eugene Dixon, <br />J. Oheney, <br /> <br />Trustee Deckert explained that the Office 0£.Defense <br />Transportation has only allowed gasoline for ten taxicabs <br />for the City of Santa Aha and that the Pacific Electric <br />Railway has increased their service to help solve the <br />transportation problem. The Taxicab Board recommended <br />that the applications to operate additional Taxicab <br />Companies in Santa Aha be denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, the application of Harry E. West and Dale J. <br />Ferguson, to operate a taxicab Company, known as the <br />Santa Aha Taxicab Company, with headquarters located at <br />105 Hickory Street,was denied without prejudice. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the application of Harold E. Fraser to operate <br />the Fraser Motor Livery, on parking lot located at 515 <br />East 4th St., was denied without prejudice. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />ca~rted, the application of Clella Henry to operate the <br />C.0.Henry Motor Livery, on parking lot located at 515 <br /> <br />East 4th St., was denied without prejudice. <br /> <br /> <br />
