No. 5521 <br /> <br />Liberty Ship <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Survey of awnings in <br /> <br />downtown district <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Pedestrian Signs <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, the bond of Delbert L. Larsh, City Judge, in <br />the amount of $8,000.00, made by the Hartford Accident <br />and Indemnity Co., was referred to the Auditor for <br />checking. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, a Resolution requesting the Maritime Commission <br />of the United States to name a Liberty Ship, constructed <br />from scrap metal collected in Orange County, in honor of <br />Terry E. Stephenson, was introduced, read, considered, <br />designated Resolution No. 5521 and passed by the follow- <br /> <br />lng vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees <br /> <br />Dale G. Deckert, W.Eugene Dixon, <br />Otto R. Haan, Asa Hoffm-n. <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />W.J.Cheney <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, Harold O. Rasmussen, Chief Building Inspector, <br />was instructed to make a survey of all awnings on <br />buildings in the downtown district and to notify tenants <br />who are not complying with the Ordinance in regard to <br />height of such awnings., <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, signs warning pedestrians to obey. traffic <br />signals were ordered placed on traffic signals at 1st <br />and Main, 4th and Main, 4th and Sycamore and 4th and <br />Broadway. <br /> <br />On motion <br /> <br />carried, the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br />of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br /> <br />Cit~ Clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />
