Hyder and Ruth E. <br />Justus, to drive taxicabs for the Broadway Cab Co., were <br />received and permits granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Bruns and carried, <br />the monthly reports of various City officers, for the <br />month of March, 1943, were received and filed and referred <br />to the Council as a committee of the whole. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Yost, seconded by Mandy and carried, <br />the Clerk was authorized to draw warrants according to <br />demands as audited by the Finance Committee, numbering <br />1847 to 2058 inclusive. <br /> <br />Communication from John Luxembourger, Chief of Fire <br /> stating <br />Dept./that John B. Hammontree was appointed from the <br /> <br />emergency employment list, to fill the vacancy caused by <br /> <br />the illness of Captain Ben G. <br />filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Kelsey, <br /> <br />Patton, was received and <br /> <br />seconded by Yost and carried, <br /> <br /> communication from Jas. Wadsworth, 617 South Sycamore St., <br /> together with bill in the amount of $44.84, requesting <br /> that City pay this sewer repair bill, was received and <br /> referred to Department of Public Health and Department of <br /> City Development for investigation and to report back to <br /> the Council. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Yost and carried, <br />request of Consolidated Aircraft Corp. for loading zone <br />space at 415 East Third St., together with recommendation <br />of H.M.Neighbour, ~City Engineer, that such loading zone be <br />established so that freight line trmcks can be loaded and <br />unload&d, were received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Bruns, seconded by Yost and carried, <br />the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Concerning Parking Limitations under Ordinance No. 1050" <br /> <br />establishing a loading zone on the north side of East <br />Third St. between French St. and the Pacific Electric <br />right-of-way, located as follows: <br /> <br /> The East 20 ft. of the West 164 ft. <br /> <br /> <br />
