Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, <br />Otto R. Haan, Wm. J. Cheney, Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees None <br /> <br />The Clerk commenced the reading of the Minutes and each <br />member of the City Council having received copies o f the <br />Minutes of June 21st, 1943, further reading of the <br />Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of <br />Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and carried. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />Santa Ana Cormmunity Players <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Communication <br /> <br />H.M.Neighbour <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Taxicab Applications <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, <br />communication from E.M.Sundquist, Pres. Santa Ana Community <br />Players, expressing the thanks of the Players for the assist- <br />ance given by the Council during the Tournament of One-Act <br />Plays, was received and filed. <br /> <br />A communication from H.M.Neighbour, City Engineer, recommend- <br />ing that the sum of $125.00 be paid to the Girl Scouts for <br />delivering circulars regarding trash collection to each house <br />in Santa Ana, was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and carried, <br />the recommendation of the City Engineer was concurred in and <br />Clerk instructed to draw warrant payable to Mrs. Go]den Westol <br />Treasurer of Santa Aha Girl Scout Council, in the amount of <br /> <br />$12 .oo. <br /> <br />0n~motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />the applications of Lester Louise Williams, Andrew J. King <br />and Roger S. Brown, to drive taxicabs for the Broadway Cab <br />Co., were received and permits granted. <br /> <br /> <br />
