<br />following Ordinance entitled:

<br /> "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Aha, C~ifornia,
<br /> Fixing the Amount of Money Ascertained to Carry on
<br /> the Various Departments of the City of Santa Ana,
<br /> and to Pay the Bonded Indebtedness Falling Due for
<br /> the Current yesr 1943-1944, and Fixing the Rate of
<br /> Taxation For the Current Year 1943-1944, Designating
<br /> the Number of Cents on Each ~100.00 For The Various
<br /> Funds of Said City, on the Whole of the Taxable
<br /> Property of Said City as Set by the County Assessor
<br /> of the County of Orange, State of Californ~, and
<br /> Equalized by the Board of Supervisors of Said County,
<br /> and Hereby Levied on the Whole of the Taxable Property
<br /> of Said City"

<br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the Clerk,

<br />City Attorney and Police Department were instructed to amend the
<br /> ~ncluding a penalty for nonpayment of license,
<br />present Bicycle 0rdi~ance increasing the bicycle license fee/and
<br />
<br />providing a clause to empower the Police to impound unlicensed bicycles
<br />,
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the City
<br />Council adjourned to August 30th, 194~, at 7:S0 P.M.
