<br />Santa Aha Boulevard at the westerly curb line of Main
<br />Street, was read, considered, designated Resolution

<br />appolnted as a committee with power to act to investigat
<br />
<br />quotations and report back at next meeting.
<br />
<br />Trustee Deckert reported on condition of busses and
<br />overloading of same during peak periods of travel and
<br />that the Manager of the Santa Aha Bus Co. had promised
<br />to replace broken straps and endeavor to maintain busses
<br />in as good condition as is possible under prevailing
<br />circumstances; also that advertisements would be pub-
<br />lished in the new~paper advising the public that every-
<br />thing is being done to serve the public as efficiently
<br />as possible under O.P.A. regulations.
<br />
<br />Trustee Deckert stated that Mexican dances are being
<br />held at V.F.W. Hall on Sunday nights and that the permit~
<br />are issued by the Police Department to hold such dances
<br />without payment of City license tax due to the fact that
<br />
<br />
