~ESOLUTION NO. 55-6 GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO CITY OF SANTA ANA OF THAT CERTAIN UNINHABI...~ TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEEEIN AND DESIGNA'I'h~ "LIBRASCOPE ANIIEX"~ AND GIV- ING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS TitERETO WHEEEAS, the owner of certain real property hereinbelow described has filed a petition with the Clerk of the Council, requesting that the City of Santa Ana, California, annex said real property, stating that the same is unin- habited, consenting in writing that said real property m~y be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to such annexation; and WHEEEAS, the Boundary Commfssion of Orange County, California, h~s approved the description of said real property as herein set out for the purpose of annexation and the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has approved the annexation of said territory; NOW, THEPd~RE, BE IT ~ESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares its intention to annex all that certain territory under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that said territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than 12 registered voters residing in it on December 24, 1954, the date when said petition was filed, that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described as: Beginning at a point in the North line of the Southwest quarter of Section Thirty, Township Five South, Range Nine West, S.B.B.~J4., said point being at the Northwest corner of the Seccombe Addition to Dyer, ~$ shown on a Map recorded in Book 8, page 17, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence South O© 30' 00" East along the West line of said Seccombe Addition, 668.65 feet to an intersection with the Easterly extension of the South line of South Santa AnaPlace, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, page 50 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence North 89° 45' OO" West along said extension 322.00 feet to a point; thence North O° 30' O0" West, parallel to the West line of said Seccombe Addition, 668.65 feet to a point in the North line of the Southwest quarter of said Section Thirty; thence South 89© 45' OO" East along said North line 322.00 feet to the point of beginning. That said Council hereby designated "LIBRASCOPE ANNEX" as an appropri- ate name for said annexation. That said Council hereby declares its intention to and it will Annex said territory to and include it within the Santa Aha Elementary School District, Santa Ana High School District and Santa Aha Junior College District and upon the completion of said annexation, said territory shall be and become a part of said School Districts.
