<br /> Employees who are in positions of "Acting", higher than
<br />their permanent classification, shall receive the rate in such
<br />acting position as they would if they had been regularly
<br />promoted to it. It was and is the intent of the City COuncil
<br />that any employees in such "acting" status shall receive the
<br />next higher rate assigned to the classification in which they
<br />are acting than the rate they were receiving as of May 1, 1948,
<br />in their regular classification.
<br /> Any such "acting" employee who may subsequently be
<br />regularly appointed to the position in which he was "acting",
<br />will be given service credit for salary purposes for the time
<br />in which he served in an "acting" status.

<br />Clerk was authorized to open bids for complete architectural
<br />service, including and excluding supervision, for new fire station
<br />
<br />as follows:

<br />H.C.Wildman & W.LoFaulkner, complete architectural service on a
<br />fee basis of 7% of the cost of construction; architectural service
<br />without-supervision on a fee basis of 8~,~% of the cost of
<br />construction.

<br />H.W.Underhill, complete architectural service for $2800.00, plus
<br />$128.00 for each contract in excess of one and all additional
