Castro <br /> <br />In Re <br />Abandon alley <br />No. of St.Andrews Pl. <br />btn Standard & Evergreen <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carried, the <br />Council instructed the Planning Engineer and the City Attorney to <br />Start work immediately to amend~Seotion 14, page 20 of the Zoning <br />0rd inanc e. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, the <br />Council recommended that Spurgeon Street be rezoned, north to <br />Tenth Street, on both sides of said street, to permit offices of <br />dentists, physicians and others engaged professionally in any <br />legalized form of healing, and said recommendation to be forwarded <br />to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />A petition was read signed by twelve residents requesting that <br />stop signs be placed at 8th and Flower and Washington and Flower <br />Streets. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the <br />following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Declaring Stop Intersections" <br /> <br />declaring that the intersections of Eighth Street and Flower <br />Street and Washington Avenue and Flower Street, and that all <br />from all four directions shall stop before entering the intersect- <br />ion, was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3696 and <br /> <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees <br /> Absent, Trustees <br /> <br />Courtney R. Chandler, Virgil H. Reed, <br />R. Carson Smith. <br />None <br />W.J. Cheney, Allen A. Mandy. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the <br />following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution authori~ng and directing the <br />City Clerk to advertise for bids for the <br />painting of the el~wated water tank near <br />Fourteenth and Poinsettia Streets, in the <br />City of Santa Ana, and fixing the prevail- <br />ing wage rate" <br /> <br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3697 and passed <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br />~yes, Trustees <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br />Absent, Trustees <br /> <br />On motion 'of Trustee <br /> <br />following Resolution <br /> <br />Courtney R. Castro, conveying an easement for driveway, parking <br />and approach area ~murposee over and across that real property <br />described as follows: The East 13~ feet of the North 96 feet <br />of Lot 5, Block C of Goldsmith Addition, was read, considered, <br />designated Resolution No. 3698 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees Courtney R.
