<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, the
<br />following Ordinance entitled:

<br /> "An Ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 1074"
<br />
<br />to amend Zoning Ordinance to permit offices of dentists, physiciaz
<br />and others engaged professionally in any legalized form of heali~
<br />on certain property along portions of Spurgeon, French and Mo~
<br />Streets, was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1243 and
<br />passed by the following vote:

<br /> On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, the
<br /> following Ordinance entitled:

<br /> "An Ordinance Amending Zoning Ordinance No. 1074"
<br /> relative reclassification of property described as Lots 7,8,9,10,
<br /> ll,12 and the easterly 8 feet of Lot 13, in Block "E" of South
<br /> Santa Aha, from R-1 Residence District to the C-2 Commercial
<br /> District, in accordance with application of Jos. M. Amstadt, was
<br />
<br /> introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second readin
<br /> .
<br /> On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried,
<br /> following Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Ordinance Amending Zoning Ordinance No. 1074"
<br />relative reclas~iflcation of property lying north of 1st St. and
<br />west of Sullivan St. from R-2 Residence District to the M-1
<br />Manufacturing District, in accordance with application of James N.
<br />Hentges, et al., was introduced, read, considered and placed on
<br />file for second reading.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, an
<br />Ordinance establishing rental charges and regulations for the use
<br />of the Santa Aha Municipal Bowl was referred to committee for
<br />further study. Chairman appointed Trustee Chandler, Attorney,
<br />Recreation Director and Park Superintendent, as committee.
<br />
<br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Mandy,
<br />seconded by Chandler and carried, the bid of the Addressograph
<br />Sales Company was accepted, covering the furnishing of one address~
<br />ograph machine, in the amount of $1,827.63, for use of the Water
<br />Department.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried,
<br />communication from City Engineer to T.E.Heffernan,
<br />Attorney f~r Vincent~ Borchard et al, reference to flow of
<br />
<br />runoff surface waters in the City of Santa Aha flooding the low
<br />places on adjoining land causing a hazardous situation, was
<br />received and filed. ~
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, the
<br />recommendation of the committee was accepted and Engineer instruct~
<br />to install lights at the intersections of Glenwood and Flower,
<br />
<br />St. Gertrude and Flower, St. Andrews and Flower and at An~hurst
<br />and Flower Streets.
