<br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carried, the
<br />following Ordinance entitled:
<br />
<br /> "An Ordinance amending City Ordinance Number
<br /> 1074 known as the "Use Districting Ordinance"
<br />
<br />to amend Zoning Ordinance to permit mortuaries in the C-i, C-2,
<br />M-1 or M-2 Districts, with certain restrictions, was introduced,
<br />read, considered and placed on file for second reading.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Heed and carried, copy of
<br />colm~onication of Engineer addressed to State Highway Department,
<br />was received and filed with reference to requests for pedestrian
<br />cross-walk and an overhead light at the intersection of Third and
<br />
<br />Grand Avenue.

<br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Chandler and carried,
<br />claim of Frederick Meyer for damages, in the amount of $15,075.00
<br />for injuries sustained in collison with City owned truck, was
<br />referred to the City Attorney.
<br />
<br />On reconnnendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Mandy
<br />seconded by Chandler and carried, the bid of Sully Miller
<br />Contracting Co., in the amount of $3§583.40, was accepted cover-
<br />lng the improvement of W. 17th St. between King and No. Flower
<br />Street.

<br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Chandler and carried,
<br />the following Resolution entitled:

<br /> "Resolution accepting deed for street purposes"
<br />
<br />from Comercial Properties, Inc., a corporation, conveying an
<br />easement for all the uses and purposes of a public street, known
<br />as Commercial Street, was read, considered, designated Resolution
<br />No. 3754 and passed by the following vote:
