In Re Reso. No. 3805 Water Rights of City of Santa Ana In Re Pumping Water from City Wells In Re Publishing Notice on Water Rights of City On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "A Resolution declaring the rights of the City of Santa Ana, California, to take water from the Santa Ana River Valley underground basin and giving notice of the City's rights, inten- tions and position to all persons, firm~ or corporations who take water from said source, fixing the terms of said notice and ordering the sane published and served to give notice to all who take water from said source" was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3805 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Noes, Trustees Courtney R. Chandler, Allen A. Mandy, Virgil H. Reed, R. Carson Smith. None. Absent, Trustee W. J. Cheney. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, the Water Superintendent was authorized to pump all water possible from City wells for City use until further notice. On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Chandler and carried, the Clerk was authorized to insert a full page advertisement in the Santa Ana Register at the City's rate of advertising and secure 100 copies of the advertisement for mailing of notice to all who tak~e water from the underground basin and the Metropolitan Water District.
