<br /> traffic on Broadway between Eighth
<br /> Street and Seventeenth Street"
<br />
<br />was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second

<br />reading.

<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried,
<br />
<br />the
<br />
<br />resignation of W.H.Spurgeon, Jr., as a member of the Library Board
<br />
<br />was tabled until next meeting.
<br />
<br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Reed,
<br />seconded by Chandler and carried, the bid of Mission Pipe and
<br />Supply Co., in the amount of $1,173.54, was accepted covering the
<br />furnishing of 955 ft. 3", 620 ft. 2" and 2255 ft.~l" Water pipe.
<br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee
<br />
<br />Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, the bid of Gough
<br />
<br />Industries, Inc., in the amount of $1,380.00 was accepted cover-
<br />
<br />ing the furnishing of three 50 KVA Marcus transformers.
