Mandy <br /> <br />of Trustee Martin, seconded by Cheney and carried, <br />Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"An Ordinance amending Ordinance Number 1024 <br />entitled tAn Ordinance cf the City of Santa <br />Aha establishing rules and regulations <br />governing the use of public parks and play- <br />grounds in the City of Santa And~" <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second <br /> <br />reading. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, the <br />Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 790 as amended by Ordinance No. <br />1272, providing that Council have final control on both tentative <br />and final subdivision maps, which was given first reading on <br />March 6th, 1950, was tabled amd referred to Planning Commission <br />and City Engineer to submit recommended changes for approval by <br /> <br />the Oo~ncil. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion <br />following <br /> <br />of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, the <br /> <br />Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br />"An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1207 <br />entitled tAn Ordinance creating a Traffic <br />Safety Commission in the City of Santa And <br />and prescribing rules and regulations <br />therefor'" <br /> <br />members of the City Council from serving on the Traffic <br /> <br />relieving <br /> <br />Safety Commission, was read, considered, <br />1286 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees <br /> Absent, Trustees <br /># <br /> <br />designated Ordinance No. <br /> <br />W.J.Oheney, John W. Mandy <br /> <br />Communication was read from Health Officer of Orange County refer- <br />ence sanitary facilities at Department cf Employment Building on <br />North Flower Street and on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by <br />Martin and carried, communication and petition were received and <br />filed. <br /> <br />Communication was read from Health Officer of Orange County refer- <br />ence harboring of horses on Xing Street, and on motion of Trustee <br />Martin, seconded by Cheney and carried, communication was received <br /> <br />and filed. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Cheney and carried, the <br />City Engineer was granted permission to attend the 1950 Western <br />Public Works Congress to be held in Oakland, April 2, 3 and 4th, <br />With expenses paid, if he so desires. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, the <br />City' Attorney was instructed to amend Section 6 of Ordinance No. <br /> <br />1037 defining and regulating patrol systems and patrol services. <br /># <br /> <br /> <br />
