Martin Jr., Virgil H. Reed, Courtney R. Chandler. None Allen A. Mandy of Trustee Martin, seconded by Cheney and carried, Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance amending Ordinance Number 1024 entitled tAn Ordinance cf the City of Santa Aha establishing rules and regulations governing the use of public parks and play- grounds in the City of Santa And~" the was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. # On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, the Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 790 as amended by Ordinance No. 1272, providing that Council have final control on both tentative and final subdivision maps, which was given first reading on March 6th, 1950, was tabled amd referred to Planning Commission and City Engineer to submit recommended changes for approval by the Oo~ncil. # On motion following of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, the Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1207 entitled tAn Ordinance creating a Traffic Safety Commission in the City of Santa And and prescribing rules and regulations therefor'" members of the City Council from serving on the Traffic relieving Safety Commission, was read, considered, 1286 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Noes, Trustees Absent, Trustees # designated Ordinance No. W.J.Oheney, John W. Mandy Communication was read from Health Officer of Orange County refer- ence sanitary facilities at Department cf Employment Building on North Flower Street and on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, communication and petition were received and filed. Communication was read from Health Officer of Orange County refer- ence harboring of horses on Xing Street, and on motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Cheney and carried, communication was received and filed. # On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Cheney and carried, the City Engineer was granted permission to attend the 1950 Western Public Works Congress to be held in Oakland, April 2, 3 and 4th, With expenses paid, if he so desires. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, the City' Attorney was instructed to amend Section 6 of Ordinance No. 1037 defining and regulating patrol systems and patrol services. #
