Comunication from Diehl & Co. stating that they have completed an examination of accounts and records of the City of Santa Aha for quarter ending Sept. 30, 1945 was read and on motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried, communicatiou was received and filed. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carrie'd, the recommendation of the Water Supt. that flat rate garden services be discontinued, was accepted and these services ordered discontinued. Communication from Mrs. Frank T. Windle stating that shrubs in front of Kellogg Auto Camp at Roe Drive and · Santa Aha Blvd. should be cut down as they a~e a ~raffic hazard was read and on motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried, matter was referred to City Engineer for investigation and to report back at next meeting. Communication from Paul S. Meyer stating that names of streets on curbings should be repainted w~s read and on motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, Street Superintendent was instructed to invest. igate prices on street signs for the entire City and to report back as early as possible. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, the ~Itnutes of meeting of the Executive of the Joint Outfall Sewer, held at Anaheim, Nov. 1948, were received and filed. Board l, Request of Gilbert & Stearns to extend an electrical circ~it from the main plant of the Frank Curran Lumber Co., 1003 E. 4th St. north across Sth St., was granted and work to be performed under supervision of the Electrical Inspector. Communication from City Engineer, together with letter from State Highway Dept. authorizing installation of traffic signals at intersection of Washington and Main Sts., were read and on motion o£ Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, Auditor was authorized to purchas. signals for this intersection.
