SS In Re Request Assistance League St.Fair & Dance APPROVED: / Mayor-or ~ City of anta Aha. Mrs. Alan Revill appeared before the Board on behalf of the Assistance League requesting use of West Sixth Street between Broadway and Sycamore Streets, on June 16th, 1948, to hold a street fair and dance, and on motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, the request was granted. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the City Council adjourned. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Hoffman. Present: Trustees: Dale G. Deckert, ~V. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, W. J. Cheney, Asa Hoffman. Absent: Trustees None. ~ Clerk con~enced the reading of the Minutes and each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of February 19th, 1945, further reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and carried. In Re Request for De~iolay Civic Day. In Re Appointment Flora Sauers, Asst. City Treasurer. In Re Resignations & Appointments of Firemen. Council Chambers Santa Ana City Hall. March 5th, 1945. 7:30 P.M. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and car- ried, the request of Santa Aha Chapter Order of DeEolay to hold their annual Civic Day on Monday, ~arch 19th, 1945, was granted and Clerk instructed to advise Bruce Golden, Master Councilor, of the Council's action. The communication of Miss Margaret L. Esau, City Treasu- rer, was read, requesting that the services of Lillian Angle as Asst. City Treasurer be terminated and in lieu thereof, Flora Sauers appointment as Asst. City Treasurer be approved. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, the appointment of Lillian Angle as Asst. City Treasurer was terminated and the appointment of Flora Sauers as Asst. City Treasurer, was approved. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and car- rted, the communication of John Lu×embourger, Fire Chief, advising of the resignation of J. Almus Riggs on January 31st, 1945, and the appointments of T. E. Perkins, Febru- ary Ist and of Glenn Hess, February 6th, was received an8 filed.
