SS <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Request <br /> <br />Assistance League <br /> <br />St.Fair & Dance <br /> <br />APPROVED: / <br /> <br />Mayor-or ~ City of anta Aha. <br /> <br />Mrs. Alan Revill appeared before the Board on behalf <br />of the Assistance League requesting use of West Sixth <br />Street between Broadway and Sycamore Streets, on June <br />16th, 1948, to hold a street fair and dance, and on <br />motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, <br />the request was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Hoffman. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees: Dale G. Deckert, ~V. Eugene Dixon, <br /> Otto R. Haan, W. J. Cheney, Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br />~ Clerk con~enced the reading of the Minutes and each <br />member of the City Council having received copies of the <br />Minutes of February 19th, 1945, further reading of the <br />Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of <br />Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and carried. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Request for <br /> <br />De~iolay Civic Day. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Appointment <br /> <br />Flora Sauers, Asst. <br /> <br />City Treasurer. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Resignations & <br /> <br />Appointments of Firemen. <br /> <br />Council Chambers <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall. <br /> <br />March 5th, 1945. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and car- <br />ried, the request of Santa Aha Chapter Order of DeEolay <br />to hold their annual Civic Day on Monday, ~arch 19th, <br />1945, was granted and Clerk instructed to advise Bruce <br />Golden, Master Councilor, of the Council's action. <br /> <br />The communication of Miss Margaret L. Esau, City Treasu- <br />rer, was read, requesting that the services of Lillian <br />Angle as Asst. City Treasurer be terminated and in lieu <br />thereof, Flora Sauers appointment as Asst. City Treasurer <br />be approved. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by <br />Cheney and carried, the appointment of Lillian Angle as <br />Asst. City Treasurer was terminated and the appointment <br />of Flora Sauers as Asst. City Treasurer, was approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and car- <br />rted, the communication of John Lu×embourger, Fire Chief, <br />advising of the resignation of J. Almus Riggs on January <br />31st, 1945, and the appointments of T. E. Perkins, Febru- <br />ary Ist and of Glenn Hess, February 6th, was received <br />an8 filed. <br /> <br /> <br />
