On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, the notifications of the State Board of Equal- ization of alcoholic beverage applications made by Fred R. Jacobs & Harry L. Martin, dba No. Main Beverage, 2221 No. Main St.; Harry Jacobs, dba The Savoy Cafe, 402 W. 4th St.; and Ella Yovanas & Vladimir Thomoff, dba Buffalo Inn, 323 W. 4th St., were received and filed. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, the application of Russell W. Gale to drive a bus for the Santa Ana Bus Co., and applications of John and D. Stevens,/Chas. H. Kelly to drive taxis for the Broadway Cab Co., were granted and Clerk authorized to issue licenses. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney end carried, application of General Neon Co. to hang a neon sign for Don Preble, 2036 No. Main St., w~s granted and sign ordered hung under supervision of the Electrical Inspector. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the recommendation by Resolution, of the Plann- ing Commission was concttrred with and the application the Free Methodist Church to add three new Sunday Schooli rooms to the ChUrch, at 702 Minter St., in an R-3 District, was approved. On motion of T~ustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, communication and Resolution of the Planning Commission denying application of M.R.Kellogg, 2651 Santa Ana Blvd. to enlarge auto court and trailer park on the south side of Roe Drive between Santa Aha Blvd. and North Main St., was received and action of the Planning Commission ratified. Trustee Haan reported that loading zone located on the west side of Bush St. between 3rd and 4th St. is no longer necessary due to change of tenants. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried City Engineer was instructed to prepare Resolution eliminating this loading zone and providing that head of parking meter be replaced.
