Kellogg <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Eliminate Loading Zone <br /> <br />Bush St. btn 3rd and 4th <br /> <br />communication was referred to the Water Superintendent <br />with instructions that he advise Mr. Taylor his opinion <br />on the action of Metropolitan water on the water pipes. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, the notifications of the State Board of Equal- <br />ization of alcoholic beverage applications made by Fred <br />R. Jacobs & Harry L. Martin, dba No. Main Beverage, 2221 <br />No. Main St.; Harry Jacobs, dba The Savoy Cafe, 402 W. <br />4th St.; and Ella Yovanas & Vladimir Thomoff, dba <br />Buffalo Inn, 323 W. 4th St., were received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, the application of Russell W. Gale to drive a <br /> <br />bus for the Santa Ana Bus Co., and applications of John <br /> and <br />D. Stevens,/Chas. H. Kelly to drive taxis for the <br /> <br />Broadway Cab Co., were granted and Clerk authorized to <br />issue licenses. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney end <br />carried, application of General Neon Co. to hang a neon <br />sign for Don Preble, 2036 No. Main St., w~s granted and <br />sign ordered hung under supervision of the Electrical <br />Inspector. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the recommendation by Resolution, of the Plann- <br />ing Commission was concttrred with and the application <br />the Free Methodist Church to add three new Sunday Schooli <br />rooms to the ChUrch, at 702 Minter St., in an R-3 <br />District, was approved. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, communication and Resolution of the Planning <br />Commission denying application of M.R.Kellogg, 2651 <br />Santa Ana Blvd. to enlarge auto court and trailer park <br />on the south side of Roe Drive between Santa Aha Blvd. <br />and North Main St., was received and action of the <br />Planning Commission ratified. <br /> <br />Trustee Haan reported that loading zone located on the <br />west side of Bush St. between 3rd and 4th St. is no <br />longer necessary due to change of tenants. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried <br />City Engineer was instructed to prepare Resolution <br />eliminating this loading zone and providing that head <br />of parking meter be replaced. <br /> <br /> <br />
