Townsend, dba The Colony, ll6 E. 4th St., an( <br /> stating that unless another protest is received allegtn <br /> that issuance of license would be contrary to Zoning <br /> Ordinance, matter could not be scheduled for a hearing, <br /> was read, and on motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by <br /> Cheney and carried, communication was received and file~ <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> Communication from Diehl & Co. advising that they had <br /> completed the quarterly examination of the books and <br /> accounts of the City of Santa Ana for the quarter endin <br /> December 31, 1944, was read an~ on motion of Trustee <br /> Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, communication was <br /> received and filed. <br /> <br /> ,, <br /> <br /> Communication from City Attorney of Anaheim enclosing <br /> certified copy of Resolution of Board of Directors of <br /> Waste Water Disposal Co. ratifying agreement between <br /> <br /> that company and the members of the Joint 0utfall Sewer <br /> Trustee <br /> was read and on motion of/Cheney, seconded by Haan and <br /> <br /> carried, Resolution was ordered filed with the agreement <br /> between the member Cities and Sanitary Districts of the <br /> Joint 0utfall Sewer and Waste '~ater Disposal Company. <br /> <br /> Communications from County Tax Collector stating that <br /> the South half of Lot 5 and the North half of Lot 6, <br /> Block "E", Tract No. 284; Lot 3 of the Parker Tract and <br /> Lot 28, Block "B" of Tract No. 638, located in the City <br /> of Santa Ana,weuld be sold at public auction, was read. <br /> On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br /> carried, the Clerk was instructed to advise the County <br /> Tax Collector that the City Council consents to the sale <br /> at public auction of these lots. <br /> <br />Communication from Chief of Police recommending that <br />Sgt.
